ALISON'S BACKSTORY
When I decided to pursue interior design over 10 years ago, I had no background in it or in business.
I didn't know where to start with getting clients or how to start and run a business. My professional life actually began as a Registered Dietitian working in medical sales, where I went on to earn a Juris Doctorate. A life-changing move overseas with my young family directed my focus on design and - I found my calling!
When I returned, I took a community college course that taught the basic design process but not the business end. Unable to find work in the industry, I opened my boutique interior design firm, Alison Giese Interiors.
Over the course of years, I then went on to spend thousands of $$$ developing a process from scratch, creating the tools to assist and present a professional front to clients. From all that trial and error, I created a distinct system and process that I use successfully both internally and with clients.
